Just to give you an update since I last came to see you. Not had anything sweet, still cant believe it ,feel much better.Have joined a gym go three times a week I am hooked
on it think I need an addiction, this is a good one.Not sure how much weight I have lost but have dropped a dress size plus people comments. Sue is doing great she has lost
nearly four stone goes to the gym with me and looks good.We all went to Northumberland last week, we walked miles even over sand dunes ,Sue said she couldnt have done it with
out the weight loss. So many thanks from both of us for turning our lives around.

Hi Barry,

Hope your house move went well and that you are now settled in your new home. Just to let you know how I managed the flights whilst on my recent holiday.

The first flight was the tester. A meal and drink beforehand kept me occupied for a short while and then it was down to putting the techniques in place to keep me calm until take off. Strange how I am feeling a bit dodgy even thinking about it now. The take off is always a problem but I kept concentrating on my breathing and going through the things you had told me and trying not to be too vigilant about my surroundings. I think at that point my anxiety spiked to about a six. Turbulence and peculiar noises during the flight spiked it to about the same. Hearing your voice in my head returned my anxiety to a much normal level quite quickly. Each flight became easier I suppose. I even agreed to a further two flights during out holiday to save time.

Whilst I will never enjoy flying. I feel that with your help and guidance you have empowered me to take control and with the tools and techniques be able to deal with my general state of anxiety on a daily basis and for that I shall be always grateful.

Hello Dear Barry,

I just thought that this skeptic would pop you a quick email to not only thank you but also to let you know that’s its been 2 weeks now since I’ve had the meeting/session with you and have not smoked since!!!! Wow I feel so excited that I do not have that niggly craving anymore of going outside for a smoke whether at work or when I’m out with friends having a social drink. I have never had hypnotherapy before so was a bit nervous about the session at first until speaking to you, you really made me feel comfortable and at ease.

To anyone out there who is thinking about it or having second thoughts about booking a session, please don’t! I will be happy if I could convince at least 1 person to take the bull by the horns and give it a shot. Just try it, what have you got to lose. This is a true testimonial written in my words so please don’t feel that because you’re reading it on Barry’s webpage that it’s been edited- that’s a message to the doubting Thomas’s/pessimist’s out there. ;-))

Barry, a big ‘thank you’ again words cannot express how grateful and thankful I am and cheers to a healthier lifestyle that I thought was impossible!

Hello Barry, I hope you are well. I am just letting you know that I would like to cancel my appointment next Tuesday, 12th. Things are going very well just now and I’m pleased to say that I am now in the process of reducing my medication – very slowly, but it’s a start. Until I came to see you it wasn’t something  that I had ever really given much thought to but some of our conversations made me really think about it and, I feel, has given me the positive mental attitude and strength to start off on the path to being meds-free.

I’ve really benefited from our few sessions; this is the first time I have ever felt any form of therapy has been useful and I would like to thank you. I’m not saying you won’t see me again because I’m not sure how things will play out, but for the time being I would like to leave things. And as I say, thank you for the sessions that we have had.

From the very first consultation, I felt understood, listened to and experienced a tremendous sense of well-being.  Everything seemed to click into place – I felt relaxed and at ease and immediately had complete trust in Barry.  I found it extremely easy to talk to him and to listen to his responses – my inner turmoil and confused thoughts seemed to become more ordered and I could see a happier future for myself –  none of my issues seemed impossible to either resolve or deal with.  I learned so much about myself and about the way I am, the way I think, the way I have dealt with ‘stuff’ in the past – I have been able to put into practice the things I have been enlightened by during our sessions.  I am not clear about why or how this has worked so well for me – somehow Barry has enabled me to tap into my real feelings, my real self – I know the session where I was able to talk to myself as a little girl and ‘hear’ my late husband advising me was extremely powerful – I have no idea how it works, I just know it absolutely does.

I now feel stronger, completely able to face Life with all its joys – and all its pain – and am enjoying, once again,a wonderful inner happiness.  Best of all, this feels SO real because I am experiencing it without alcohol and I feel confident that I now have some of the ‘tools’ I need to deal with life.  Hopefully, I am realistic enough to know that depression can strike at any time – if I can’t work through it alone, I know I have Barry’s support if I ask for it.

Before I went to Barry for help I had panic attack’s all the time this  ruined my life for years , id tried lots of medications but nothing worked. When I started my sessions with in a few weeks I felt so much better ! As I went more often the anxiety disappeared, now I feel normal again and my life is back on track !
